  • Shaping the industry’s agenda: We believe you can’t solely let the industry drive your business moves. You have to step into uncharted territory so that the industry can inch down new paths.

  • Expertly curated content: First thing’s first: We don’t waste your time. Our breaking news and influential ideas aren’t automated or antiquated like other blogs or bots. It’s hand selected by experts in the business who are tapped in to what’s now and next - and what that means for us all.

  • Fuels growth: Our services have to offer real, tactical value. Whether that’s content plays or event tech, if it doesn’t help inform decisions or impact the bottom line, then it’s just noise. And that’s never been of interest to HIP NETWORK.

Our History

It all started with a gutsy idea and an acronym. In 2008, HIP (Hospitality Industry Professionals) launched for Millennials in the business to leverage their unique vantage point and create an enduring network. We bet on each other - and on our future influence - and today we’re at the helm.

Leaders continued to come to us to help inform their businesses. But not in the usual ways. We reject norms and show up with unmistakable energy and unprecedented concepts. Our intrepid team has always been charging forward. This fearlessness produced 55 face-to-face and digital events, including educational series, influential interviews and awards competitions. We even won a few industry ones ourselves. In 2017, our committed work was recognized by our win at PCMA’s Convening Leaders Event Tech Pitch Competition. Building on that success, we launched the Market in a Minute newsletter in 2018.

Today, we deliver a suite of products that respect and solve for the needs of executives navigating the constant churn today.
